See Spot Run on 21 is the only pet boarding and doggy daycare facility in the Fox Valley providing onsite supervision and care 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a staff comprised of certified Pet Care Technicians. What’s more, our professional staff is also trained in pet first aid and wellness. Rest assured that when your pet stays or plays with us, they are in capable, caring hands.
To ensure the health and safety of your pet, other pets and our loving staff, we do require proof that all pets visiting the See Spot Run on 21 facilities are current on vaccinations and we require that all dogs 7 months or older and participating in Daycare are spayed or neutered. When registering as a new client, you may bring a copy of your pet’s records (preferred) or have your veterinarian fax them to us at 920-685-5923. Additionally, we also require that all dogs complete a new client behavior and health evaluation prior to their first day with us. No worries, this is not a test!
Here are the things we look for in our evaluations:
- Social ability with new people
- Handle ability (we must be able to handle feet, ears, muzzle, tail and hold onto the collar)
- Social ability with dogs( to be in a play group, dogs must fall in the scale of tolerant to social)
- Ability to share space, attention and toys with people and other dogs
- Ability to be calm and adjust to being away from the owner within a reasonable time
- Free from physical ailment, disease or fleas (on an approved flea/tick treatment), and current on heartworm prevention, bordetella, rabies and distemper vaccinations
Prior to staying or playing at See Spot Run on 21, we ask that you schedule a minimum of five hours for your dog to spend with us in order to complete this evaluation. If you do not want your pet to be here for the entire day for his/her evaluation, we reccommend their stay be from 7am - 12noon or 12noon - 5pm. This way our staff can make sure your pet's evaluation form is filled out upon your arrival. Your pet will get to know the building, the staff and meet other pets. Pick up or drop off for these evaluations are also the perfect times for you to tour the facilities, meet the staff and ask questions you may have about See Spot Run on 21. In the event that your dog does not pass this evaluation or shows mild aggression to staff or other dogs, we will not necessarily turn you away from See Spot Run on 21. Our large and thoughtfully organized facilities allow us to accommodate any guests, provided they do not pose an immediate threat to the safety of other guests or staff. If your pet is not suited for staying with us, we have a list of area in-home services we can refer you to as needed.
