A step up from Puppy Love, Puppy Kindergarten instruction focuses on socialization with people and dogs, fine tuning potty training and crate training, conditioning for handling and nail trims, confidence building exercises, how to handle puppy play biting and teething, loose leash walking, basic manners and boundaries training, leadership lessons and beginner commands including: sit, down, stand, come, drop it, fetch and beginner stay. Classes are an hour long and cost includes the book “Puppy Primer” by Patricia McConnell, Ph.D. Continuing students get $10 discount upon completion of a previous puppy class taken at See Spot Run.
