Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring with my dog for their boarding stay?

When your dog boards with us, we ask that you bring their food and medications along. If you do not bring food, no worries! We can feed our house food: Fromm Adult Gold. Other than food and medications, please bring additional food additives in case your dog becomes picky. During boarding, dogs may not eat the same way they do at home. You may also bring comfort items with them such as their bed, blanket, toys, bones, or even personal items that smell like you to help comfort them at night. We ask that all items you bring are machine washable.

Do I need to add-on additional services?

No, additional services are not required. You know your dog’s energy level best. If they need extra time to run around, we highly recommend daily additional services. We recommend booking your additional services when you make your reservation. Spots are limited!

What size suite is perfect for my dog?

Our suite sizes are suitable for any dog! Most dogs can fit in any size, however, if you have a giant breed, we highly recommend a 4x6 or larger. Stop in for a tour anytime during our open hours to see what we have available. This is usually the easiest way for you to decide what the best option is for your pup.

How often does my dog get to go outside?

Without additional services, your dog will get four potty breaks a day. These potty breaks will be up to 15 minutes long depending on weather. Let out times are as follows:

First potty break between 6AM-8AM

Second potty break between 10AM-11AM

Third potty break between 3PM-4PM

Fourth potty break between 8PM-10PM

If you choose to add on additional services such as individual sessions or extra potty breaks, your dog will have a fifth opportunity to get out of their suite.

What time will be dog be fed?

We do feeding three times per day. Breakfast (6AM-8AM), Lunch (10AM-11AM), Dinner (4PM-5PM). If you have time sensitive medications or specific feeding instructions, our feeding times can be altered for your dog. Be sure to specify this with our front desk when you make your reservation.

What are your diarrhea procedures?

If your dog begins having diarrhea, we will withhold their food for 12 hours. If the diarrhea continues, we will begin feeding a bland diet of pumpkin and chicken. If approved by the owner, we will also administer an anti-diarrheal medication. Once the diarrhea subsides, we will slowly begin reintroducing your dog’s usual diet. These diarrhea procedures are $5 per day, and the owner will be notified if diarrhea does not subside within 12 hours. Throughout this process, we pay close attention to activity levels, overall demeanor, water intake, and appetite.

What if my dog is picky during their boarding stay?

After 24 hours of your dog not eating the provided food from home, we will begin adding broth to their meal to entice them to eat. If this does not work, we will add canned food. If we need to add canned food to the meal, we will charge $3 per day. When it comes to picky dogs, we will try many additional tactics to get them to eat as well such as feeding on a plate, hand feeding with a staff member, adding water to their food, etc. We may contact you to see if you have any suggestions to get your pup to eat.
